Before going to see Dr. Abraham I had bad sciatica symptoms that were getting worse as time went on and causing my right knee and calf to go numb at times. I ended up in the Reading ER one weekend and finally said enough is enough! Time to fix this, I Listened to a close friend of mine who highly recommended Dr. Abraham and made an appointment.
I had seen other physicians before I saw Dr. Abraham for “pain management” … I got tired of “managing the problem.” I wanted to fix the problem. The pain management results were always temporary, quite often little to no relief was felt.
After seeing Dr. Abraham for the first time, I felt confident in his abilities and techniques, and understood why my close friend recommended him so highly!
After the surgery, I walked out of the surgery center, very carefully … but I walked out and the pain previously shooting down my leg was GONE! The next 3 - 4 days of recovery were pretty rough, but not unexpected. Dr. Abraham and his staff were very thorough in explaining “the process” and what to expect. After the 4th day I noticed a definitive turning point in my recovery as far as the level of pain goes and getting around in general. But compared to years of dealing with PAIN and trying to manage the problem with medicine and shots, what’s a couple of days to fix the problem!! I was back at work (desk job) and back at the YMCA walking on the tread mill one week after my surgery. I was able to resume weightlifting activities (very light) within 3 – 4 weeks after my surgery … and within 2 months after the surgery I was back to normal workouts … amazing!!!
My quality of life has improved tremendously. I am very glad that I made the appointment with Dr. Abraham and had the surgery!
I would you recommend Dr. Abraham to others 100% yes!! Great Doctor, very personable, he takes the time to listen and is very easy to talk with.
If you’re dealing with similar symptoms, make the appointment, don’t continue to “manage the symptoms” … fix the problem and get on with your life!
